BRBG is partnering with Portland-based Providence Federal Credit Union to communicate its mission of enhancing its members’ financial health. This tech-forward CU serves its care worker members with free financial counseling and customized banking products.
Objectives:
When we began with PFCU, they had an existing brand, but there were issues with design consistency and brand recognition. The objective of the brand refresh was to update the look and feel of their member-facing information, especially their website.
Outcome:
PFCU now has a consistently represented brand that is recognizable and creative. All member-facing materials, both print and digital, are unified and consistent. And, we created a robust brand style guide that ensures all 3rd party platforms and partners visually represent PFCU with accuracy.
We continue to encouraging their marketing department to pursue a holistic approach by partnering with other departments. Their best strategy will involve tracking their member experience from the first touch to long-term member care.

Video Design
- New Services – Multiple spots to introduce and explain new services
- Online Banking Tutorials – Short tutorials showing the new online banking functionality
Strategic Collaboration
- Distributed Team Meetings – Met with marketing director and 3rd party partners to coordinate, create, execute, or recommend solutions regarding design, development, marketing campaigns, processes, and platforms
