Friends of Malheur Case Study

Inspiring UI/UX Design to Engage Visitors and Volunteers Alike

BRBG is partnering with Oregon-based Friends of Malheur to communicate its mission of conserving and appreciating Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. The volunteer-led non-profit offers education, outreach, advocacy, and on-the-ground stewardship at the refuge.

FoM work composite

Objectives:

The Friends of Malheur reached out to us to redesign their website. Our friends at FoM asked us to recreate and refresh an outdated website for the refuge in Southeastern Oregon. They hoped to communicate the stark beauty of the area and showcase the extravagant array of wildlife that lives there in hopes of attracting more people to enjoy the Refuge and get involved.

Outcome:

The new FoM website has improved accessibility to it’s donor base, as well as those planning to travel to the area.

Deliverables:

Website Design & Development

  • Website UX/UI Design – Page templates
  • Website Development – WordPress + Elementor

BRBG understood the assignment and went above and beyond with what was delivered. Working together was easy as Rick was responsive, timely, efficient, and VERY clear with instructions on deliverables from us so that he could keep moving the project along. Our new site is visually appealing, flows naturally, and offers connectivity between Calls to Action and the Membership, Donor, and communications portals. We will keep working with BRBG for all of our website design and support.
